Super Ski Week Snow

HI!
On the 3rd February we went to ski week in Andorra.It was fantastic! because we were very excited because we didn`t know how the hotel was going to be. When we arrived we wanted to go to the bedrooms, but we had to go to the bar. Meanwile the children of year 6 and year7 were carrying the bags to our bedrooms.

When we went to our bedrooms I thought they were very good and they were precious  and it was all very organised. The first night I couldn`t sleep because I was very nervous like a lot of children.  The next day I was really exausted and I didn't miss my parents at all. We slept very comfortably and when we went to ski I was very nervous because i didn`t know what group to be in.  I was going to go and they put me in c that is a top group.
The first day there was a ski test I had 3 spectacular days with very good snow and there was a gigantic igloo that we all made with snow and ice .  Did you know that the igloo takes 3 weeks to remake it all again?  We went down a lot of ski slopes some red and some black. I loved skiing with my ski teachers. Then we went to eat in a very good restaurant and when we finished we went to ski again.  I was very excited.  When we finished we went to the hotel we played to the nintendo and some people went to the bar area. Then we went to supper.  I loved the food.  Then we went back to the hotel and we had a disco with  some teachers some stayed in our bedrooms and one night there was a magic show.  It was brilliant, amazing, well it was pretty difficult to do it ,the people who did this magic show where some boys of year7. We also went to buy some food or some other things like presents for our parents.  We had a party for a friend in our bedroom because it was his birthday. I think he liked.  On the penultimate day we needed to do a ski race but we didn`t do it because there was a lot of wind and it was cloudy, in the afternoon they give us medals and then they took a photo. When the day was not very clear you couldn`t see the mountains clearly, you saw the mountain like a famous painting.
When we went to the bus to go home I didn`t want to go because I wanted to ski more.  When we arrived I saw my mum so I went home, it was the best trip I have ever been on.

Year 3 have been learning to use four basic shapes in their dance lessons: ball, wall, pin and twist. Then they made these shapes with a partner to show 'magnets' which 'attract' and 'repel'. We have learned that a dance is like a story and has a beginning, middle and end.

New ipads in Primary

During cultural week we've been using new ipads the school bought so the children would be able to use them during class. The ipads will be found in the ipad 'aula mobil' which is beside the laptop 'aula mobil'. During this week we've been using them to do our plasticine animations which you will be able to watch on our school youtube channel. Last year some groups used the nursery ipads but other used the laptops. Having ipads will give the school staff more ways to help the students learn.

We have lernd a lot of Jakson Polok. We made pictures of Jakson Polok painting splashing and driboling. Jakson polok is a feimas artist I like his pictures.

Cultural Week

Hello, during this fantastic cultural week we've done lot's of different things, such as an animation, pancakes, kapla...

The animation was made with new ipads and plasticine. We took photos with the ipads of the plasticine in different positions. We could also add music to it with Kelly. We added music chosen by us, sound effects in the parts of the animations that we wanted and could create our own music with a program. We did 2 classes of 'I Can Animate' per day! The credits and the title were also made like an animation. We put the animation all together using movie maker. Today we're going to show the animation to Infants and Juniors and going to put it in You Tube. We hope the week ends well. Till now it's been very entertaining and fun.

Just some of the really cool activities that we've been doing during Cultural Week in Primary.
Kapla came in to show us haow to construct with small planks of wood.  Just look at the amazing structures we were able to create.
And we have been using our new iPads to create animations and put them to music.  Our videos will be uploaded onto the school's Youtube channel at the end of the week.

Hola, la setmana passada i aquesta year 7 han estat visitant els platós de TV3, una cadena de televisió que segurament tots vosaltres coneixeu (Super 3, 3 XL, Esport 3...). Seguidament van anar ha assistir com a públic a un programa anomenat Els Optimistes a Catalunya Ràdio.

Primer van anar als platós i edificis de TV3. Allà van poder comprovar que hi ha tres edificis i també van poder comprobar que no totes les sèries es roden en aquestes instal·lacions. Cada un dels tres ediuficis tenen una funció diferent. Van veure diferents platós com: Els Telenotícies, Esport 3, Hat trick Barça... i molts més. Van poder comprovar que hi ha sales que són tan grans que munten dos  platós i que hi ha alguns que són tan petits que els munten dins d'un altre. Hi ha d'altres platós ( com la partida de TV3) que munten el decorat per grabar el programa i el tornen a desmuntar quan ja han acabat.

Seguidament van agafar el TRAM per anar als estudis de Catalunya Ràdio a assistir de públic a un programa de la ràdio protagonitzat pe l'Àngel LLàcer i el Manu Guix (alguns de vosaltres potser sabeu qui són). Finalment els van ensenyar com funciona tot el món de la ràdio.

Per a tots els alumnes de Year 7 ha estat una experiència molt bona per aprendre com funcionen les noves tecnologies i la comunicació de Catalunya.
